Art Craft Classes Tilehurst Berkshire Year Review
As the year has already come to an end, I’ve been taking a moment to reflect on just how much of a joy it’s been teaching arts and crafts to so many wonderful children. My art and craft classes in Tilehurst, Berkshire have continued to grow, and it’s been amazing to see so many young artists gaining confidence, learning new skills, and enjoying the creative process.
From After School Art Clubs to Home Ed Art Club sessions, this year has been full of creativity, colour, and fun – and I’m so grateful to everyone who’s been part of it.

Children’s Art Classes in Tilehurst, Berkshire
My children’s art classes in Tilehurst are all about exploring materials, trying new techniques, and letting imaginations run wild. Throughout the year, the children have learned that art doesn’t have to be perfect – it’s about experimenting, making choices, and being proud of what they create.
Seeing their confidence grow week by week is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching, and it’s been wonderful watching these Berkshire art classes for children develop into such a supportive and creative space.
After School Art Clubs and Home Ed Art Club in Berkshire
This year I’ve been busy running After School Art Clubs in Tilehurst alongside my popular Home Ed Art Club in Berkshire. These sessions give children the chance to unwind, be creative, and explore art in a relaxed and encouraging environment.
Whether children attend as part of an after school club or a home education group, the focus is always on building skills, having fun, and enjoying hands-on creative learning.

Festive Art and Craft Projects from Our Christmas Term
The final term leading up to Christmas was incredibly busy and packed full of festive making across all our Tilehurst art classes. Projects included:
Pop-up accordion books for children to decorate themselves
Abstract shape making and creative composition
Exploring negative space with our amazing stag night-sky scapes
Cotton-spun magical mushroom ornaments
Mushroom bunting and dragon-eye badges
Weaving coasters and creating custom stamps from EVA foam
Painting beautifully customised Christmas trees
Decoupaging baubles and adding sparkling rhinestones
Colourful 3D candy canes in oil pastels
We finished the year with spectacular air-dry clay gingerbread houses, which were a real highlight and the perfect way to end such a creative term!

School Art Clubs in Berkshire
Alongside my community sessions, I’ve loved running school art clubs in Berkshire at St. Paul’s Catholic Primary and Churchend Academy. Teaching art within schools allows children to explore creativity in a different setting and gives them the opportunity to try techniques they might not normally experience in the classroom.
Balancing two school art clubs alongside After School Art Club sessions and Home Ed Art Club made this one of the busiest times of the year – but also one of the most enjoyable.

What’s Next for Our Tilehurst Art Classes
I’m already planning lots of exciting new creative projects for the year ahead, with sessions for both children and adults in Tilehurst and the wider Berkshire area. Teaching art is such a joy, and I can’t wait to share what’s coming next.
If you’re looking for art and craft classes in Tilehurst, Berkshire, whether that’s an After School Art Club, Home Ed Art Club, or school-based sessions, watch this space and keep checking in for regular updates. There’s plenty more creativity to come! 🎨✨
